Mouvement Naturel

So Garrett shed the light on this subject for me. It's some French guy that has spent much time training in the forests of Brazil with a supreme natural approach. Climbing trees, jumping across rocks, pushing logs down rivers, etc. There's potential to take a workshop or go on a trip with him. I personally am very interested but still have a lot to learn about this guy and what he's doing. Overall, I love his natural approach to diet and fitness.

  1. I, too, would be interested in something like that. That would be amazing. How does one get the opportunity to meet this man and travel through jungles with him?

  2. I really like his paleolithic approach to fitness. Incorporating some modern style stuff, along with his paleolithic style would be quite a wicked workout.

  3. I support the Paleolithic approach as well. Diet and fitness. For workouts, for spirits, for total health. It is ancient, it is what we are designed for.

  4. To francisw: This summer there is an opportunity in Virginia to go on a hike/camp with him and his crew as they train a group in these ways. Also, starting in 2012 he will begin a 3-tier certification program giving students qualifications to teach this practice! I will most likely be participating in all of this.

to KyleStJean: I agree, some modern spices will be nice to these strong foundation.

    to Lelladon: Ancestoral roots!!

To all: I'm loving the initial activity levels. This can get big ripple waves.

  5. To Mandingueiro~8: I will be out of the country this summer so that thing in Virginia won't be an option for me. However, I have been getting into Parkour, living in a European city as I am. It is actually very similar in a lot of ways. As for that 3-tier certification thing... that sounds amazing. Let me know the details if you get a hold of them.

  6. I can't stop watching videos of this movement. I think tonight I will be swinging, swimming, jumping, and climbing through the forests of Brazil in my dreams!
